Roots Permanent Jewelry Warranty and Policy

To ensure that you have an exceptional ROOTS Jewelry experience, we offer a 14-day warranty:   

  • Within the first 14 days, if the product you purchased from us becomes uprooted (un-welded), detached, or needs to be refitted, for any reason, and you have the product with you, you can schedule a repair appointment with us and have it re-rooted back, or adjusted.
  • This service is free and unlimited within 14 days of initial purchase.
  • After 14 days of initial purchase, a service fee of $20 will be applied per item welded or resized. 

Please reach out to Contact@bigdogfarmsky.com if you have any special needs for your ROOTS piece and we will do our best to satisfy your request.  

Disclaimer: The warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear and tear (like a bent ring or broken chain), improper use of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party outside of ROOTS (see additional policies below for specific information). Again, you MUST have possession of the item needing repair in order to take advantage of the warranty. 


Return/Exchange Policy

Due to the nature of the permanent weld and customization of your ROOTS piece, all sales are final and exchanges are not permitted.

TSA and Medical Removal?

Great News! TSA will not require you to remove your piece! However, in the case of certain medical situations such as an MRI, the piece will need to be removed. If this happens, Don’t stress!!! Simply cut the piece at the “root” (weld) and contact us!

You MUST cut the piece at the root and have the piece in order for us to take care of you without full repurchase.

Does it Hurt?

YES! Lol jk -  Gettin’ Rooted is completely painless! So painless that your mini is safe to be Rooted too!

Is There an Age Limit?

Nope! If you’re comfortable, then so am I! I also offer semi-permanent (meaning I won’t actually weld the ring, it’ll just be a closed ring) for our nervous minis!

Is Forever Really Forever?

No, be serious. We all live different lifestyles and are exposed to many different chemicals and working environments. Everyone has their own type of forever. Here at ROOTS once you have made your selections, right before establishing your root (weld the piece together), we will ask that you make a promise to yourself or a wish that you want to come true and once your piece has outgrown its Roots and falls off, check back in with yourself; has your wish come true? Have you kept that promise? ((from personal experience I am coming up on a year and a half with the same two bracelets without any reconnections))

How Long Does it Take? 

We allot 15 minutes per person from start to finish. Actual time depends on how long it takes you to decide which chain and other customizations you would like. Let's be serious, that's the hardest part! Actual zapping time takes 5 minutes or less!

Do You Travel?

Yes, we can bring ROOTS to you! We charge an additional travel fee to your invoice. 

Within 10-15 miles: No charge! 

15-30 miles: $15 travel fee applied

30+ miles: Inquire
