We are excited to offer our farm as a location for photographers to bring their clients for sessions. With 100+ gentle cattle (including newborn calves to bottle feed *depending on time of year*), antique furniture, and a 1970’s tractor we are excited to open the farm to the public to capture their special moments! This reservation is available for professional photographers only with a business insurance policy. Please no private inquiries.

Details + Cost

  • Session rates are based on one photographic subject: i.e., one family, one couple, one senior. Thus photographers wishing to book consecutive sessions with multiple photographic subjects (such as 1/2 hour mini sessions) would pay the 1/2 hour rate for each family/couple/senior.
  • Max group of 5 people. Please inquire via email (contact@bigdogfarmsky.com) for a large group request. Additional fees may apply for larger groups. 
  • Scheduling is based on availability. Please submit your request at least 14 days in advance. 
  • Photo shoots may be rescheduled due to inclement weather but are otherwise non-refundable
  • Full payment is required to reserve your date and is refundable up to 48 hours prior to the photography session. 

Without Large Props (cows + small props only): 

  • 2 Hours ~ $100
  • 1 Hour ~ $50
  • 1/2 Hour ~ $30 ((photographer minis only - must book 4 minimum))

With Large Props (includes small props + cows):

  • 2 Hours ~ $155
  • 1 Hour ~ $85
  • 1/2 Hour ~ $50 ((photographer minis only - must book 6 minimum))

Large props must be selected prior to photography day, max of 2 “large” props. Additional “large props” can be rented at an additional cost, just email us and we’d be happy to discuss.

About Our Farm + Farm Etiquette

  • We are a working cattle farm where cows are tended to daily. There may be people working outside during your shoot on the property but we will be sure to give you space and privacy for your time slot. The fields will have cattle at all times, but keep in mind, cows are cows - they will roam as they please.
  • Since we have our own dogs on the farm, we do not allow any other pets/animals on the property. 
  • Please be respectful of the cattle and do not approach them unless a farm owner is with you and tells you it is okay to do so.
  • There are also two private residences, and multiple barns on the farm and we ask that you refrain from accessing those areas. 
  • There are no public restrooms for anyone other than photographers who book mini sessions due to the fact you will be in our personal home. Photographers are responsible for informing clients that there is no changing or restroom area. 
  • We ask that you arrive no sooner than 15 min before your shoot and are respectful of your time slot. 
  • Please note that we have the right to ask you to leave if we feel your behavior is unacceptable at any time.
